Windows sealed, sight I find, while walking alley
It seemed a village was fast asleep in
Closed doors, dark lanes, look ghostly
Where have all gone, they are not to be seen
Passing through the lane, i hear the screams
Screams from gallows haunt in the darkest dreams
A ghost returns at midnight silence
Corpses screams heard around, not to be seen
On the walls written, words with blood, i see
A history of blood bath, i could feel within
Thousands in the rows, fall one by one
Shots! Thud! Blood splashing, game of red dance
History, nobody wants repeat
Souls shiver at the sight, cries heard of kins
1947 came as boon, india celebrated light
A light of freedom, on the blood arose
Blood of sacrife, not went in vain
Now we decode, criticize the sacrificial ruins
