From the window
A square in a bread
Eaten by mouse
I look through it
A stomach of it
Through a bread
I see a creature
as a male
Because the saying goes
“To enter into man’s heart
Is through his stomach”
And a mouse, i despise
They are the pics of mouse,i love
I teach my children
M for “Mouse”
M for “Man”
Here, i draw this analogy
I can see through
window of bread
Those two eyes
Hungry or greedy
I don’t know
But those eyes made me
Let go off that piece
To forgive that small mouse
I can see in his heart
That piece of bread
Reached in his heart
That’s why, i see him hovering
often around my kitchen
Otherwise for him
food is available everywhere
it’s my big heart
And his loving heart
Kept on building windows
In the loaf of bread
Window connecting
heart to heart
Kalpana’s imagination
