DAILY TRAVELER

He was my winter

He came in summer

Showering love on me

Kissing sweat with rains

I forgot my endurance

Released pain at dawn

Travelled in his arms

I reached towards dusk

Finally finishing task

I grew in storm

Strong with him

We walked miles

With our smiles

On roads formidable

Travelled less

Unbound, timeless

We traveled upteen times

Dusting Memories

How to wipe out the illusion i have built?

It’s a nest of memories i have built

One by one i picked up

The ones you and i collected

Placed them on highest altar

It was the wind with destructing intention, made ways

Scattered far and wide on the path we walked

Then…

that road on which you traveled alone

the road i visited unmistakably

There i found forgotten twigs and weeds

I picked up and placed them

Where they belonged

Unrelated to you

I alone live there

Dusting them

Often

Prompt 7

Napowrimo/Glopowrimo23

Often

Clouds of grief

Shadows of Sorrows

collect to attack

Eyes filled with tears

And i console myself

By cajoling my heart

Why do you have to cry?

This is often the reason,

Elevating grief in this world

Twist of Emotions

#NaPoWriMo23

Prompt: 5

Twist of Emotions

He whistled and teased her

Which she couldn’t digest

Irked with his prescence and his manners

She wanted him to leave immediately and spoke rudely to him

Her friends turned to backfire and grumble

Blaming his gender of human species on earth

It was then while walking

She stumbled upon a stone

Her feet hurt and bled

He knelt to support her to stand,

Slowly took her to nearby first aid centre

He paid for her treatment and dropped her home

It was then they got friendly

A guy who was scorned upon by her are now together

Never Dare to Ask!

Prompt: 3

Napowrimo/ Glopowrimo-23

New love, new love, where are you to lead me?

All along a narrow way that marks a crooked line.

How are you to slake me, and how are you to feed me?

With bitter yellow berries, and a sharp new wine.

New love, new love, shall I be forsaken?

One shall go a-wandering, and one of us must sigh.

Sweet it is to slumber, but how shall we awaken-

Whose will be the broken heart, when dawn comes by?

~ "The Last Question"

———————————————

-Never Dare to Ask

Love grown old with age,

Where shall we stop?

Along the straight way

While walking hand in hand

When our nest goes empty,

On the smooth run

If one of us is left to feed oneself

Won’t it be tough to have a soup without other?

When our love ages with time,

In our spare time, we shall sit together

On a bench near river

Deep in our thoughts of past,

One of us might call a name of other

Will you or i be revived by the echoes on silent river?

Simplycity of Dawn

Simplicity of Dawn

Morning Bhaktis

With Artis

Wakes me

with pious feeling

On my window

Begins a live show

On a set time

Chirps alaram

Sun rays

Merged with sky

piercing my eyes

Opening them wide

It's time to show

A face to world

Gone yesterday

Welcomes new flow

A cup of tea

While it brews

Awakening wide

Sleeping Senses

What more

can i ask for

When these tricks

Played on me

Feeling fresh

Along them

i am blessed

a happy morning

A Lesson for Glutton

Prompt : 2

Surreal Poem

A Lesson for Glutton

An Owl

Sitting on a kitchen table

Sleeping daytime

Working whole night,

In the kitchen sink

Water flows like river.

A miracle happens

When nothing works right

Oysters are added to dishes

And they taste good

A temper of glutton rise

A food flows in gutter

Gutter of stomach,

Realization dawns

salt was added in heaps of spoon

Owl flies

As an elusive species

On the table was heard

A thunder! A thud!

What was that sound!!

Something fell

It was glutton - he fell

He had eaten an oysters

Added was…

heaps of salt and Cheese

Seeing this owl

felt happy

Sings a song

A song “my choice is my freedom”
